The Mile High City is a vibrant and energetic community, and it truly came alive during the Democratic National Convention. People cam from all over the country and from all walks of life to be a part of the excitement. There was a tangible sense of hope and unity in the air. The energy was contagious.
On the night of August 28, 2008, a diverse crowd of 84,000 packed the stadium of Invesco Field at Mile High to listen as Barack Obama accepted the presidential nomination. My photograph entitled “Making History” is a celebration of that historic evening, along with the hope it represents for the future.
